Meet our Founder, Nikita

Nikita Rajwade founded LNR in 2022 with the vision of bringing a practical, efficient and hierarchy-free approach to venture capital and early-stage investments. Before establishing LNR, Nikita spent years in transactional practice and was part of the teams that advised on pioneering VC deals when the Indian startup ecosystem was still taking shape - across IndusLaw (Bangalore), Trilegal (Mumbai), and Rajaram Legal (now River Law) in both their Mumbai and Bangalore offices.

Over the years, she has guided high-growth startups, emerging as well as sophisticated funds, and innovation platforms through equity financings, venture debt and high-velocity transactions - always with a focus on breaking down complex legal constructs into clear, actionable solutions.

On the cross-border side, Nikita has advised on numerous NVCA-style transactions and SAFE note financings, giving her a strong grasp of global early-stage dealmaking frameworks.

Her approach is rooted in delivering tangible value for clients, no matter where in the world she may be: whether she’s working from a café in Europe, a beach in Goa, or her favourite spot back home in Bangalore or Ahmedabad.

Nikita is also associated with Social Alpha as their External General Counsel and heads the Investments and Governance function; managing legal and governance matters for the organization.
